Directed learning:  I do; we do; you do.

Most lessons I teach are of the same format:

• I demonstrate a principle or method
• I give another example where the students talks through the steps they need to take while I guide them
• Independent, intelligent practice where the student implements the principle or method in multiple cases, gaining increasing experience

Where clients commit to 5 lessons or more, every fifth lesson will be free.

Please note this is conditional on the clients account being in good order and fully paid.

Payment must be made no later than 24 hours after the tutoring has been delivered.

I do not teach children in KS2 or below because I do not have adequate experience.

I have experience of teaching KS5, including students retaking maths as well as teaching A-level.

Practice is a key part of high achievement in most things and that includes maths.  Homework can be set if it is in the students best interest - But this will need to be considered in context with, for example, levels of homework from other sources.

Homework may vary from short 10-minute activities to complete practice papers taking 90 minutes.

My passion for teaching and commitment to student success is what sets me apart. I work closely with each student to identify their individual needs and create a customized plan to help them reach their academic goals.

I require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If a session is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the full session fee will be charged.
